Grandma Annies Special Dish

Ingredients:

• 1 box of cornflakes
• 1 jar of peanut butter
• large pot
• large bowl
• 2 tablespoon of corn syrup
• marshmallows (optional)

Preparation:


      Large bowl was one thing grandma Annie needed to make sure that the whole box of  cornflakes was able to fill the entire bowl. I decided to help grandma with her spontaneous peanut butter chews. while the cornflakes was already in the large bowl, the next step was waiting for grandma to mixture of peanut butter.  Grandma never actually allowed anyone to help her with her treat, because she said it was for her to mind her own business and not be distracted by anyone. but some reason it was different this time she actually allowed me to volunteer to help create this wonderful dessert.
       Grabbed the large pot and put it on the stove, add a little vegetable oil into the pot just so when we pour the peanut butter in the pot it  wont stick. then turn the stove heat on low because you wouldn't wont to burn anything while doing this process. Grandma pour 2 tablespoons of corn syrup in the pot just to have a little sweet taste, after she stir the corn syrup into the peanut butter and let it cook 5mins. You could smell the peanut butter feel the room like a Breeze walking into the doors from heaven. Grandma said "Baby girl what's so special about my peanut butter chewy" grandma always wonder why everybody was In-love with her treat. I answered with a big smile on my face "Grandma Your peanut butter chewy is special because well it was made by a very special woman, which is You" seeing my grandma smile after that was the most lovable thing ever it Brighten up my day like the sun brighten the sky.
        5mins has passed now it was time to mix the marshmallows inside the pot with the peanut butter, its actually an optional choice if you want marshmallows or not. But grandma always added it because the family loves marshmallows, the marshmallows melted 2min later. I remembered when granddad use to always come in the kitchen while grandma was stirring the marshmallows and steal a couple, because that was his favorite. I decided to bring granddad to see did grandma miss him, granddad died of an heart attack  while at an job event. Grandma brought up the time about When I first born and Papa was so excited to have his first born granddaughter in this world. Me and My brother was papa favorite grandchildren and when he left it was heartbreaking for us and the rest of the family. Grandma said "I continue making peanut butter chewy is well because it brings a lot of memories back about my old man" all of sudden it was time to pour the mixture of peanut butter, corn syrup, and marshmallows into the bowl which had the cornflakes inside , stir smoothly and make sure that all the cornflakes was covered of peanut butter.
           The Doorbell rang, I wonder who it was and when I open the door it was a couple of my good friends from down the street. All my friends will die for grandma peanut butter chewy, Amanda said "I could smell Grandma Annie special treat, down from my house"  grandma knew all my friends and she loved every single one just like they were her very own. so grandma decided to let us do the rest of the work while she lay back and relax, me and the girls thought it would be a good idea to make pretty little shapes with the dessert. grabbing a hand full of the chewy we made balls, Stars, Hearts, and Even tried to make letters it didn't come out so well. than we was done grandma was so shocked by the shapes she have saw done, she smiled and said "Girls Good Job, I love The shapes that have been done"
       Seeing my grandma smile is the best thing ever, I ran to my grandma and hugged her so tight and let her know that "I LOVE HER" whenever my grandma make peanut butter chewys it just lighten up her day, like the car bright lights light up the street. its like when she make her dessert it brings memories of my papa and I see that the love she had for him was something real. after all that hugging grandma start singing her favorite song "Big Happy Family" while everyone grabbed their piece of chewy and joined along with her in the song. My Grandma Annie is the Best grandma in whole wide world, nobody's grandma better than mines (:

                     "An American role reversal: Women the New Breadwinners" 
 Most women are becoming the new breadwinners of their relationships in America. I'm not saying all, but when people think about it , you can see that women in America is bringing more home than their husbands.
           Wives is Out-earning more than their husbands, and now the wives are becoming soldiers or just getting better options than their husbands, while the men are either stay at home dads taking care of the house hold and attending to the children than the wife can or just have a job that's not bringing more than the wife. American gender role reversal is now about , how women are taking over mostly than men.
            28% of the time women are becoming more overachieved . think of it as  A SOLDIER, A STAY AT HOME DAD. Reading about other family's who wives are more achieved than their husbands is very different than what I seen and know. My family is different, women in my family has a good job and good educations. the women's love to do and own their own hair salons. but the husbands they are married to earn the most money because their jobs are earning more than the women's are.
            My cousin has an army husband , she do hair and owned  an salon but when she married her husband and had 3 beautiful daughters, she had to leave her salon because of her husband job. they had to move from place to place a lot . no she don't enjoy it but she do it for her family and to make sure that her house hold and her children is in good hands.
           Now that I learned and heard about other family's , it tells me that wives can bring more to the table than the men and no it cant only be just men earning more than the wife he is married to. I learned in some situations the women do more and bring more home for their household and their family.
